wedding frenzy
MnQ's getting married this july; EfD's getting married this august.
both are 22 yrs old.
one's marrying an indonesian who currently living in the fabulous NYC; the other's marrying a chinese-canadian in this city (victoria, that is).
both i just met last january, but have become 2 of my bestfriends in this place. one attending UVic just like me; the other's in vancouver and just graduated from UBC.
both told me about their proposal and engangement through instant messages. one's using msn; the other's using yahoo.
there. must. be. something. in. the. water.
i still can't believe it. what is it with the wedding bash? okay, last april i was worn out and just came home from campus, when i opened my notebook and a message appear on the screen, saying, "mil, gue dilamar!!"; today (come to think about it, it was yesterday, it's passed midnight now) i woke up still with my heavy eyes and found another message on my screen which led to this piece of conversation:

and of course i said yes, i would go to your wedding, provided you get me a place to stay and she gladly would. even until now, i am still in shock. i know, they might be ready and eveything, but considering today's nature, 22 is still a bit young, don't you think? or maybe it's just me with my post-modern thought has occupied most of my brain?
i thought i can do with some sharing-the-story with another of my bestfriend in brisbane, through msn, of course. so just awhile ago i told her about the whole news. and here's a piece of what we ended up talking about:
